Ok, so what's all the hype about this Windows Live stuff.

From what I've seen, it's going to be a new email and a new IM client. Does that mean that my perfectly fine hotmail account and MSN Messenger are no longer going to be supported? Or is Windows planning on replacing Hotmail/MSN mail/Outlook along with MSN Messenger with this new Live stuff?

Give me the low-down on this. For a current MSN Premium subscriber (with 2 hotmail accounts as well as MSN Messenger) what are the benefits of using Windows Live? And probably the most important question: what are they going to do with the software once it's out of the beta stage? Is it going to be free, will it be integrated with MSN Premium, will it come pre-installed on along with IE7 once Windows Vista hits the stores?

Curb your negative M$ views and lets talk actual product here. :thumb: :rolling:

My cousin uses Window Live to help promote his fitness business online. I thought Windows live was for Small Businesses and Corporations only and not individuals.

As far as I understand, Live apps are going to ship with Vista and will replace the existing apps. The old ones will probably still work, but since the feature set on the Live apps will be significantly improved, you'll eventually have to shift to that if you'll want to use those features (especially for Messenger, since both people will need to have the Live version to take advantage of a feature that only Live has).

As for your paid MSN stuff, I have no idea. There's probably more info on the link I gave, or on MSN's site.
