Windows Media Player in foreign characters

    As the software I got with my mp3 player (Creative Touch 40GB) is crap, I have to use Windows Media player to rip songs for uploading. The problem is that it will not recognise fadas, accents or whatever you want to call them. I upgraded to the latest version (10) but I cannot find such an option.

    While I am fine with sings with English titles, my Irish, Scandinavian, Turkish etc will not display. I dare not attempt to rip any of my Russian albums!

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem, and if not, can anyone recommend any (free) replacement software?
