    OK since it was obvious from the Plant vs. Zombies thread that you guys are missing out on some great casual games, I thought I'd mention another great casual game and see who's played it and who needs to :)

    So: World of Goo! Fantastic game! Very different than Plants vs. Zombies. Rather than tower-defense, it's more of an erector-set building puzzle game where you have to use different kinds of "goo" (which are creatures) to build structures that reach a certain goal where the rest of the goo can escape.

    Each level has a basic goal (like number of goos rescued) to pass but then they also have what's called an OCD (Obsessive Completion Distinction, but the pun is intended) goal which give a much more difficult completion criteria.

    As the levels progress different kinds of goo balls are introduced with different properties to help with achieving the goals.

    I have gotten the Architect of Goo achievement which means I have completed the OCD goal of every level.

    Who's played this game, and what do you think? If you haven't, go and get it! :)

    I've played it. Haven't gotten very far, though. Turn based strategy is kinda more my thing.

    The title "World of Goo" just strikes me as being very untoward. Kind of like "World of Goo: The Monica Lewinski Story."

    Sorry for the '90's reference - just couldn't think of anyone else so readily associated with getting "goo" on them. But you get the idea.

    Played it, but didn't like it.

    Saying that, it's not my type of game so that's not really surprising. :p

    World Of Goo is good, but I don't have the patience for it. I used to play it on the Wii with my ex, she loved it. I'd end up wrapping the Wiimote round my telly though when my tower collapsed, much to her amusement.
