[IMG] As a newbie to the RPG arena, I purchased an XBOX and loved both Baldurs Gate games as well as Champions of Norrath on the PS2. I have also played the LOTH Return of the King and loved it.

Could anyonoe list some other games for the XBOX platform (sold the PS2) that are similar in gameplay to the ones listed above. Im looking for a a 2 player game that allows both characters to fight on the screen at the same time.

I hate the split-screen co-op gameplay of games like Halo and Dynasty Warriors. (it makes me dizzy...ha!)

I love the RPG type of games best but any of you that know of other 2 player co-op on screen at the same time games, I would greatly appreciate your suggestions.

Copy and pasted my other answer:

Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone is probably what you want but you should really try some PC RPGs such as Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. The games you mentioned are just glorified action games, really.

Although Rednik's right and you really should play the real BG games, if you like Dark Alliance style gameplay, Dungeons and Dragons Heroes isn't bad, but it's very short. I've heard good things about X-Men Legends, but I'm not 100% that it's for X-Box. I liked Hunter: The Reckoning, and I know that it's out on the Box.

PC games let you play online, and you can play with more than one person without dividing the screen real estate.

P.S. Those games like BG Dark Alliance and X-Men Legends are hardly real RPGs. :p

Hunter:TR isnt bad, and XML is probably really good, too. but for the X-Box, you should really try Knights of the Old Republic, Morrowind, or the GTA series. All really good.

Fable is a good game, as is LOTR: The Third Age.

I agree with Benan, fable very good, but unfortunatly is only one-player. Other than that I only suggest Dark Alliance 2.
