Anyone every run into a issue where no matter what inn you go to you are not able to rest ? No fight is happening and all the party members are present and close , but no matter what Inn I am in I cant rest period. Am I the only one who has had this problem ? As a side note.....anyone have any idea why I cant get into Amons estate ? I have tried multipul times and I jsut get told to come back later....I tried resting and doing other quests too and still cant get in. Played this game 100 times and this time around I seem to have one problem after another

 

Did you try to rest directly instead of talking to the innkeeper ?

 

No I didnt. I didnt think I could.

 

This issue with resting (even at an inn) happened to me once or twice. Either I didn't kill everyone in a battle I was in before I left the area or a glitch made it so the game didn't realize a battle I was in was over.

If I remember right I was able to get around this by simply going back to a save I had prior to that battle and refighting it (the glitch didn't occur each/every time). Thus I was able to continue as normal afterwards.

 

Problem is I wasnt fighting a battle before hand. I am out of the city now and I wasnt able to rest in the city where spell hold is or in the gnome inn in the under dark

 

I had that problem once, it was just a bug. Can't remember how I got out of it - I must have had to go back to an earlier save. Or I may have left the area, forcing the game to do an autosave. It didn't happen again.
