I'm against dual-classing monks. It just seems so...unnatural. I ne'er really tried though. If you people say it's good to play, I'll try it sometime. Is pale master/monk any good? It seems with the undead disease arm, you can inflict lots of pain on opponents. Excuse me if this has already been spoken about.

There's actually a quote in the game, one of those that displays while you're loading the next area, that says something about Pale Master / Monks being tough adversaries.

Not everything works well with the monk class, but I enjoy playing a rogue / monk. Excellent stealth and tumbling and the ability to knock your opponent on his backside and sneak attack at will with the higher number of attacks received by a monk. For example a monk 6 / rogue 5 can sneak up on someone, use Flurry of Blows and Improved Knockdown for the first (surprise) attack, then attack 3 more times with Sneak Attack vs. a prone opponent (+4 to hit, IIRC) with a +3d6 to damage. If the opponent tries to stand up, repeat as needed. :D
