Insane isn't really all that insane. And Legacy of Bhaal is just tedious.

Alright, so I've narrowed it down to three classes. I'm curious as to what you would prefer to see:
    Fighter/Mage/Thief
    Fighter/Druid
    Druid

F/M/T's a classic choice so not very interesting, so Druid's probably the most intriguing to me.

Okay, so it looks like Druid won. Will get the thread started either tonight or tomorrow.

Well, looks like I'm late to the party, but I would've voted F/M/T, just because I never soloed one, and I did the others. In case of a druid, I'd have gone with F/D, if nothing else then just a F(9)/D(x) because there is no reason not to add a few fighter levels to any class, and pure class druids (and clerics, thieves, and mages) are kind of painful to play when you don't want to rest after every encounter and you must need to resort to melee or ranged attacks, due to the 1 attack per round limit.

Late to the party, but druid would have my vote as well - F/M/T is just too common and easy, not making for a very interesting playthrough IMHO.
It'll be interesting to see how you deal with not having any fighter levels as well :D

You know bards and druids are really powerful in BG1. Since you're already past the point where it can be useful for example (hehe) on my druid I used to tackle new areas by first sending out a scout and then using Charm Mammal on random dangerous forest creatures (ie, bears) as well as the occasional humanoid, and then clearing the map with them. Before that I just did fetch quests (like any paranoid level 1 PC).

Single class druids have value because they have a unique leveling progression which allows them to gain levels faster than even rogues at certain points, which means you can force high level NPCs to spawn very early. In the end you may not be as powerful as an F/D, but for most of the game you'll have 5 other higher level people around you as an upside. Too bad this is a solo though. :p
