    No idea pal, looks like I had a bit of a brain fart. Must have meant HD and had CPU on the head. Happens alot when your mind wanders like mine.

    Thing is, it's perfectly legal to ask a refund for the license if you don't intend to use it, on Microsoft's webpage you can actually download a PDF copy of the EULA of every product they offer. If you look closely in Vista's one, it says something like " if you do not agree with this license you may return the product for a refund " or something similar, so it seems to me it would be legal to ask for one.

    Flix, the only problem is that the cursed Winblows comes already installed and the license sticker is already on the laptop, so to get a refund for the price of the Winblows, you'd need to return the *whole* laptop.

    I've tried just about every trick in the book to try and get a laptop with a blank HD and license-free, but to no avail.
