Can anyone give me any tips in fighting the dragon? (non-cheesy way)

    Remove all ads!
    Use lower resistances and lots of magic missiles, they can make good damage, if you have casted 2-3 lower resistances.

    I have a tactic that works with other tought-to-crack enemies. When attacking them, put you game difficulty to the lowest, then, hit it till it says "near death" and then put your difficulty to the highest again, after the enemie is dead you will get maximum XP, works with me all the time.

    G4mer's party has 4 spellcasters, so it would be wiser to put those spells into use before moving in. First a few summons to use up the dragons Death -spell, then a few more to buy your casters some time (and keep them away from the fireballs/wingbuffets). As long as the summons take the punishment, you're on clear waters.

    During this time the regular way is to remove protections, lower resist, and then let 'im burn. Usually, by the time there is no running behind the summons anymore (if you don't use Mordenkainen's sword, which is immune to physical), the spells should have put the drake 'near death.'

    Stone-skin and max fire-resist are also good things to have ;)
