[IMG] to what extremist said earlier!

i *do* indeed "explore" TeamBG's site, or rather i am a member of their community. Just watch out for some of the stuff that is coming.

hehe... you will be surprised. I, myself am currently working on a romance, but yet another woman (yeah i know that'll piss the ladies off but hell).

all shall be revealed sooner or later.

Romances are damned good, and hopefully DaveG will pull an excellent one out of the hat with Valygar. :-D

Rolling pin, maybe. (-: Or a pen. It's mightier than the sword. I used to have a star in fencing foil, but that was before the @$!#! dual-class... *wink*

    Oh, and NG, I think.

    [edit added]

Deano: I read your site. A good character concept! A couple of comments to consider as you write:

    1) Jaheira and your girl saying bitchy things to each other is totally on, but you should really reconsider Jaheira approving of the PC trying to pimp Ava off. Love Jaheira or hate her, she's nothing if not a feminist, and consistently gets mad at female exploitation. If you want her to say something bitchy there, try something arch like "Little though I approve of Ava's promiscuous attitude, CHARNAME, teasing her about it in this fashion is in extremely poor taste. ...You ARE teasing, aren't you?" (-:

    2) Ava's personal plot sounds great, but the romance plot is missing conflict. One of the things that makes the romances in this game so good is they all include conflict--big fights with Aerie and Viconia, Jaheira and Anomen leaving the party at some point. If the main thrust of your romance plot is just Ava apologizing to the PC, it won't be as interesting. You've set up Ava as being flirty, horny, and rather promiscuous. Why not have her flirting with/making out with other men while dating the PC? If Viconia's around, she might even mock his manhood for being unable to hold his girlfriend's attention. The player could eventually either decide to accept Ava as she is, convince her to have a committed relationship, or break up with her. It could be really cool.

Of course, anything else that introduced conflict between her and the PC and a significant choice on the player's part, would also work.

Good luck, it's a fun project!
    L

well, i actually said i hadn't thought of an ending yet, and that is already in mind ;)

thanks for the comments however, much appreciated and i shall keep them well in mind.

Problem is, party interactions are difficult at the best of times, so i am going to have to do a *lot* of work on this.

    thanks again Tjek! :D

I can only imagine the amount of work it must take! I wanted to script in a couple of lousy dialogues between Valygar and Imoen and I couldn't even do that right. I salute your tenacity. (-:

[IMG] http://worldzone.net/games/manveru is working on romance stuff with more male and female NPCs. Just a suggestion; every once in a while go there and check on his stuff.
