    Back to the topic :) , casting speed can work for you well, and if I think well, than it seems that after casting the spell, you should move a bit, and then try casting the spell...Rarely I manage to spare a bit of time.0.001 seconds maybe :)

    I think that the only real advantage of the robe comes later when you get a certain high level spell that will then allow you 'cast like crazy' (for 2 rounds).
