    [​IMG] Hmmm... I don't know that you CAN lower it without changing something like the location of your ISP or fixing a broken router along the path your computer's packets take to the computer you're talking to. It also depends on the congestion on the net and the number of routers you're packets pass through, none of which you can control AFAIK.

    Thing is...is that there seem to be tonnes of people with 40 - 300 ping. I'm always the only 1000 + except for 1 or 2 exceptions...

    I'm clueless! My ping was 1000+ a week ago...now its 700 or 900...whats going on?

    Latency can change. I don't think it'll go down to 100+ though.

    I don't understand how you can snipe with that kind of ping. Anyway, for the best experience you ought to play on a LAN.
