Difference in Short and Long bows?

    Composite Short Bow - Steppes Horse Archers
    Short Bow - Standard European bow for Continent
    Long Bow - Tall bow from British Isles (high quality of wood, long range, takes a lot of skill and strength to use)
    Composite Long Bow - Not sure what culture would have used this, maybe Eastern Europe. Or perhaps referring to higher quality English long bows (with the construction mentionned above)

    And the 10 lbs of Encumberance for a Long bow are mostly do to length rather than weight. (Why measure it in lbs then, I don't know, if you want to see messed up, look at the encumberance of coins.)
