So, everybody, it sounds like disrupting is possible but extremely unlikely; I'll soon change the way it's phrased in the walkthrough from "can't be disrupted" to something like, "it's really unlikely you'll be able to disrupt them". Out of the dozens of people who've posted or emailed me about this Bluey is the only one who has personally succeeded in doing it, and he describes it as having happened once out of 50 reloads. (Ouch! My sympathy Bluey - did you ever see my screenshot of the week of the first time I succeeded in this battle - all my troops dead except my mage who had 1 hp left?! :p Thanks for your post and also your PM.)

I still have not heard from anyone who has ever *personally* succeeded (as opposed to, "it should be possible" or "someone said it was possible") in using Turn Undead or Undead Ward or anything like that so I think it's safe to assume the chances of succeeding are effectively nil. Certainly in about a dozen reloads I never managed to affect them with any form of undead-specific spell or Turn Undead.

    Np Sprite :)

Btw, I'm a "she", and even a cute one, though "old" and stuff :)

To clarify...my rogue with the mace of disruption succeeded in disrupting their cleric exactly *once* in about 50 reloads (cause this took me hours to figure out how to succeed).

My fighter, with a 30+ attack rating was using the hammer of lucerne (or whatever it is) and *he* succeeded once as well, in all that time - when I finally beat the six, he disrupted the dwarf. (thank GOD)
