    You cite a two party system. I'm talking about a multiple party system. In your example, those pissed off at the Democrats would vote Republican. In Canada, the "anti-Liberal" movement would be split between the Conservatives, NDP, Green Party, and in Quebec, the Bloc Quebecois. Therefore, some Liberals would survive even with the diminished support, which is what happened in the last election.

    Truth be told, I believe that Christianity should be moderate. They still take a hard line in defence of that which is sacred, but they should speak up more for the poor anr the needy, be it politically or through other means of action.
