    So at this rate, it'll only take it 10 years to gain a significant share of users. :shake:

    Seriously, as I said, as soon as MS comes up with the next IE which will have all the extra candy, Firefox will dwindle into obscurity again. I just don't know what's taking MS so long. I remember they announced IE7 would be out early this year... so where is it?

    I have tried Firefox. I have a few grumbles with it...

    It's just too damn slow on my computer. It's a nightmare for speed, dunno why because IE is fine. I go to MSN Gaming Zone, which Firefox doesn't like. I go betting on Labrokes, which is a massive nightmare with Firefox aswell.

    IE is just easier for me, so I reverted back.

    It's because if you are running WinXP, IE loads up and system boot and sits in your RAM. Thus, it's always open. Firefox has to be pulled off the hard drive every time you use it.

    The difference between the two on my machine is only a few milliseconds.

    Actually, IE can handle some code that Firefox can't.

    Firefox seems to be able to render pages for me a lot quicker than IE can, and it's slightly faster at loading them from the remote servers.

    For the record, my university has now completely switched over to Opera and Firefox as browsers of choice and we're actually telling students not to use IE anymore.
