wait, a clarification please. when you say they had "banshee" in their team, you're referring to the marvel character aka Sean Cassidy?

No it isn't the Marvel comics character Banshee. The character wasn't named Banshee, she was a Banshee.

On this show it turned out that a whole assortment of mythical critters were real - but were actually aliens who had travelled to Earth for various reasons.

I only saw a couple episodes but if I remember correctly there were also Sasquatches (who were somehow related yet different from the Yeti), Werewolves, Minotaurs, and Vampires to name a few.

    No, that isn't it.

Edit: The show's name is three words long. The first word is The.

The second is the name of the location where the agency has its headquarters.

    @JSBB

You're familiar with Alpha Flight! Most people have never heard of them. Cool!

    Sorry off topic.

that's because they sucked ;) :D hehe. IIRC Wolverine had a thing with the hot girl in the team too and Vindicator didn't like him either :D Kinda like the cyclops-marvel girl thing :D

the show has got me stumped though

    It isn't The Phoenix Squad.

Oh and as a Canadian who collected Marvel comics in the 80s and early 90s I am not only familiar with Alpha Flight but I have most of the first hundred issues sitting in storage somewhere.

Edit: As a another hint, the secret base is located in what I think would have to be just about the single worst place on Earth to locate a secret base for alien investigation - espescially if you have obviously non-humans as members of your team.

The third word is a favourite of fans of the X-Files. It starts with the letter C and is in its plural form.

Well, you have two out of three words correct. The place is really obvious if you start thinking alien conspiracy theories - which is why it is the last place I would want to try to hide a secret base.

Has the 24 hour thing elapsed yet? I have one that no one will get which is tangentially related to the last one(Roswell Conspiracies). Better give HB more time as I can't read the times as they are posted in here anyway.

Yay. That was hard work. OK, in this show the hero often faced an enemy that, despite many awesome conquests, was unable to travel up or down staircases.

Woah! I was right?! Heh...I guess my screwy sense of humor IS good for something!

This show featured a crimefighting duo of Sasquatch and a loinclothed/tuniced human compatriot whom Sas' raised from infancy.
