    Continuing the cartoon theme:

    Cartoon series cancelled (in the US at least) due to religious protests.

    There may be more than one that this applies to but I'm thinking of one in particular.

    Ok better clue - one of the three main characters was the devil, portrayed as being rather 'camp'.
