    Yay! The "centre of weirdness" thing rang bells; bigfoot rummaging through garbage sealed the deal. (Cheers Ara!) :D

    Wasn't there an episode where they found out the guy in the local store had been kept prisoner in his own basement & his identity stolen by his successor? It was superb, because it was half way through a season, with no point at all, other than to be surreal.

    Anyhoo, on with the quiz:

    This sci fi was set in the 60s and incorporated a lot of conspiracies into it, death of JFK, Roswell.

    Lots of alien abduction stuff too.

    It's either that or Dark City, but I'm 90% certain that's a film, and never a TV series.
