    Woohoo - go Aquaman!

    In this game show, the host crosses his hands across his chest several times each episode to indicate a certain type of decision made by the contestants. It also features a little monkey that appears exactly once per episode. More generally, this show involves little or no skill on the part of the contestant, beyond a rudimentary grasp of basic probabilities.

    Yeoman is a distinctly Navy term -- as is petty officer. There are Army clerks and Navy yeomen.

    I only discovered recently that there is a different version of Deal or No Deal that they play in the UK (different from the version we see in NZ), which was why I'm not surprised that someone managed to get it. Some guy won $0.50c the other day. Brilliant.

    Sorry, folks, I'd have posted, but I assumed that the UK version was the only one, and I was therefore wrong by default.

    Well, that and I was just doing other stuff for 5 straight days.

    Y'know, I'm never sure if BoM sucks time from RL, or vice versa... :hmm:

    One of the CSI series? I think it was CSI: Miami in which one of the main characters died, because his gun failed to fire due to improper maintenance.
