    I'd seen the sweater in the Smithsonian a few months (along with the Ruby Slippers from Oz).

    From one episode:

    Mu Goo Gui Pan

    Edit: This Thanksgiving episode is considered one of the funniest TV comedy episodes of all time. It is set up by the wife visiting family for the holiday and leaving the husband (and his friends) to their own vices.

    I'm pretty sure that's from the original Bob Newhart Show. (I can still hear the drunken slurring of "Mu Goo Gui Pan".)

    If I'm confirmed correct, and since I probably won't be around for another month or so (if my recent posting trends continue), first one to come along after T2Bruno's confirmation can take it away.

    Beats me, it sounded like something that would fit the show and it was consistent with the clues. Or in other words, I guessed. :happy:

    This show was well known for its practice of casting Star Trek actors/actresses.
