    Nope, sorry. Exactly what town and state id DH set in, anyway? There's no mistaking the location of this show, even if they had to search far and wide to find a leading man who could do the accent properly.

    Next hint: This show has the usual lessons-in-diversity ensemble cast, including the emotional female, the angry black guy, the token Accent, the Boss Lady, and the Best Friend...

    ...all wrapped around the main char, even though you frequently have to wonder why.

    I declare y'all stumped. The show is House, which is set in Princeton, NJ.

    Next: This show is the original spin-off from a classic of American TV, and it retained the original's no-holds-barred approach to addressing issues of the day.

    I know I was being obscure, HB, but it's such a new show that there isn't much good-but-not-blatantly-obvious trivia about it yet. :(

    Nope on Raven. I've never seen the show but I have heard of it. I had no idea it was a spin-off - what from? The show I'm thinking of was a major hit before the main cast members of Raven were born.

    no - compared to the show in question and its progenitor, all of the shows just mentioned are a) not old enough, and b) too light and fluffy.
