    Nakia got it because the show was Maude . She guessed it in the FAI yesterday afternoon, with no assistance.

    None of the other shows mentioned addressed the variety of issues that "All In The Family" and "Maude" did, and certainly not with the same blunt approach. Also, when I said that "Mork & Mindy" was too young, why did people come forward in time instead of looking farther back? :roll:

    Hokay, This should be easy. A TV show older than Maude or All in the Family.

    Ran for 20 years with the same leading man and was a spin off from a popular radio show.

    The radio show was an adult show and quite a change from other popular radio shows of its genre.

    Tsk, Twin. Sure you would know this.

    Not real life, fiction but if I give the genre that would be a dead give away.

    Started as a 1/2 show then changed to 1 hr.

    Since it was canceled there have been, I think, 4 "reunions". It can sometimes be seen on cable.

    Gunsmoke it is. James Arness played that part for 20 long years. Milburn Stone played Doc Adams for the full 20 years also. 1955 to 1975.

    William Conrad played Matt Dillon on the Radio Show but was deemed too heavy for the TV Show.
