Newbie questions (again)

    Cleave and Greater Cleave is not actually an additional attack(s) per round, it's more like an extension of the attack that killed the monster. I would imagine that Greater Cleave is pretty much indefinite in the numbers of monsters you could hit, but remember you only keep attacking if the monster is within range (w/o moving from current position) and you have to make a kill with one attack. IMO, Greater Cleave is only useful to those using longer weapons, like polearms, quarterstaves, etc. But I do enjoy using it in Targos against the goblins in the cave. There is nothing like sending in your tank to get surrounded by Goblins and watch him take out 3 or 4 of them in a row.
