Tanya awoke past noon, and recalled the previous day and night. The cursed storm of horrible proportions. Finishing her morning prayers to the Goddess of the Sea, she found five golden rings and attached them to her belt. Each ring had a name engraven on them, a part of her crew that she brought along upon this cursed hunt. Each name was now only among them in memory, and in many not even so.

First rule of leadership.. everything is your responsibility..

"Aaargh!!!" She roared, and rammed her clenched fist into a mirror shattering across the cabin floor. This was not how it was supposed to be!

She could feel the tears burning behind her eyes, part anger, part helplessness and sorrow for those that had been lost. There had been a good soul lost! Oh, Leonard.. may your soul forgive me..

The wet mirror of her greyish eyes was reflected in a shard of glass on the floor. The sight angered her, and she headed out of the cabin slamming the door behind her and finding a few men to sail her ashore.
The men glanced nervously at her, but didn't ask questions. They knew when she was in a foul mood and thus the final lengths to Sorrow's Rock passed in silence.

Kassandra jumped up as she was awakened from her tortured sleep. She looked at her surroundings groggily and was puzzled at where she found herself. The last thing she remembered was seeing some lifeboat approaching her position in the harsh Sorcerean Sea. She shuddered involuntarily as she remembered her stay in the freezing waters. Never again would she be that careless.

She quickly patted herself down, and begin to flex and stretch her limbs. Luckily, she wasn't hurt too badly. Although she could barely feel her fingers, she could still move them, albeit stiffly. But, she figured that stiff movement was better then no movement, so she would take what she could get.

Kassandra threw off the blankets that were wrapped around her body and gently placed her feet upon the floor, waiting patiently until that tingly feeling dissapated. She couldn't believe her fate. She was still alive, after all of that. Truly, the Lord of the Sea must have something planned for her.

She slowly got to her feet, wobbling a bit at the added pressure of gravity but instantly regained her balance. This was no time for her to be weak. She was a privateer, after all. No one could see her weak. Hell, maybe after surviving the sea, maybe the men around here would finally give her some respect.

She slowly began to pace around the room, getting a feel for her range of motion, which wasn't much, but it was still enough for her to hold her own on the ship, which was all she needed to survive. "Thank you, my Lord, for giving me this chance to prove them all wrong."

"Aye, I'll be stayin' here. But if y' ever be hearin' the sounds of the cannons, git back 'ere at once. I 'ave a bad feeling about all of dis."
