[IMG] I already live without it for a year or so now. :D :D

Computer is way more interesting than TV.

I'd miss soccer matches, movies (DVD I mean).
And to be honest I don't think I could live without a good movie. That may be a bit extreme but I would really really miss it.

What's wrong with watching a good movie for the 15th time (example braveheart on DVD with the volume on 70 and that's really loud but still clear)

So the answer is no I need to see that movie for example every year at least once.

I don't think i could do that, although i hardly ever watch TV. It's always on though, but i'm mostly sitting with my back to it, looking at my monitor. :D

It's just to have some noise in the background i guess. The only time i'm actually watching TV is when there is sports, global news, or a good movie on, for the rest it has the same function as a radio.

I went out and bought myself one of those nice, big, fancy flat screen jobs and a satellite dish about two years ago. I can count on one hand the number of times I have used them. 500 channels of nothing. Can I live without TV? Sure, I pretty much already do. Leave me my newspapers and I'll be content.

I could definitely do without tv.. if it wasn't for the sopranos and 6 feet under. Looks like you missed the "drama" category, mathetais.

I could, easily, as I only watch sports now anyway. My 5 year old son, however, would probably disown me for taking away Sesame Street. My 2 year old daughter has no stated opinion as of yet. My wife, however, would have serious issues, as she appears to be addicted to West Wing.

I watch around 1-2h of TV per week. So I hardly need it for much anything. I'd watch more, sure. If there were more series like B5, X-Files (when it was still new, past 4 years it's become all crappy), Stargate, McGuyver, Conan O'Brien, Southpark, and some anime. But there aren't.

Hmm... need a new option on that poll: "I couldn't live *with* a TV". :) OK, there is one in the basement somewhere for events of earth-shattering importance, like if the Maple Leafs make it to the playoffs ( ), but it only gets one channel and it's blurry. We use it mainly to watch our Galaxy Quest video on the VCR. Although I did watch actual television, very briefly, on Sept 11 2001 and when Elizabeth, the Queen Mother died.

Yeah well it's not the same as a widescreen tv and a DTS sound system is it
