    As for nerds, they are usualy tall and skinny, and not short and fat. The weird thing is that they consume large amounts of chips and other unhealthy stuff without gaining any weight.

    It actually seems that SP has a lot of tall WOMEN. Of the five people identifying themselves as women, four of them are 5'9" or taller, which has to be way above the statistical average. I don't know what the average female height is, but I'm 5'9", and most women are considerably shorter than me.

    The male graph is also strange - it has two peaks. One around 5'8", and another around 6'0".

    I'm 5'9" male. (the converter is offline but if I'm to believe the previous posts, it wasn't a good one anyway. :p )

    I'm very comfortable with it - as long as my present or future girlfriends won't be not any taller. People would mistake us as mother and son. :D

    From the Metric Handbook (UK figures):
    Aged 19-25

    Men, 50th Percentile (Average) - 1760 cm = 5'9
    Women, 50th Percentile - 1620 cm = 5'4"

    Which also correspond to the peak averages across the different age groups.

    Tallest average men are American, Tallest average Women are Swedish.

    According to the handbook (1999 so a little out of date), Chev would be well outside of normal, the 95th percentile in Poland is 5' 10.5".

    I'm full of meaningless statistics, me.
