    Power-wise it’s 4 for me.

    1) An arcane spell-caster
    2) F/T
    3) R/C (or F/C,F/D)
    4) Dual or Multi F-M or a Bard

    Game-wise almost always I have 6 members in my party (NPCs,banters and side-quests).

    Solo is best...hit the XP cap somewhere in Chapter 2 and cruise through the rest of the game...

    This assumes that you know what you are doing. If in fact, you DONT know what you are doing, feel free to have 2 tanks, 2 clerics, 1 thief and 1 mage...
