Gah, my legs hurt. There's nothing quite like jumping back into training.

What kind of slow reader takes 5 seconds for that? :p

On the other hand, I just spent far more time typing this reply.

"Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise...but leaves him socially dead!" :p

Hmm...my beard is getting long. I'm growing it out just to irritate my wife like I did last year. :-[> :rolling:

Here's a thought Kit ... CLEAN YOUR KEYBOARD. :p Seriously, just turn the thing upside down and shake out the smaller bits and then pop off the keys so you can get the rest.

It's not mine...its the breakroom computer. Even if I did clean it, it would be just as dirty within 2 days. :skeptic: Sadly, there are only two computers that I have access to that have internet access when I'm at work . :wail:

Speaking of work, I've got this odd looking goo on my acid burn right now...and it sort of looks like 'man juice'. But I guess that's the price one must pay for being clumsy around dangerous acid. :bad: :rolling:

Blah, already Sunday... this 4-day weekend went by much too fast.

Waking up at 6:45AM Monday fills me with immense dread.

Looks like we are about to move on to the past tense in Latin. A bit of a shame I haven't mastered the present yet!

Hey, Saber... you like Cherry Coke, correct? Well, keep your eyes peeled - Coca-Cola released Cherry Coke Zero. If vanilla's your thing, you also have Vanilla Coke Zero. And as for us, Dfly... we'll have to wait - as usual.

I'm seriously thinking of foxing my English class tomorrow morning. Having been classed in Medium-advanced English is a total insult to my intelligence. And when last week's "new" vocabulary words are words and expressions like "stun", "take for granted"... are you f****** kidding me, you SOB? I'm the only one in there who sounds like a native English speaker! Improve my oral and written English? Does my English REALLY looks like it needs help? Hell, what do you guys think? Did you ever suspected I am NOT a native English speaker prior to my mentioning it?

Thanks, but no thanks, I'll stick to sleeping tomorrow morning.

Macaroni and chips tends to be more successful when one actually puts the chips in the oven.

DotW, explain the matter with them. You can't just sleep through a course. Explain to them that you aren't merely an advanced student, you're bilingual.

Well, English tends not to have as many asterisks as you use. :p
More seriously, no, your English is good.

Oh. Oh dear. Well there goes my plan for this year.

Edit: More seriously, DotW, chev is probably right. Since you are obviously capable of passing the course after sleeping through it, it would likely be of more use to talk to them and study something more useful.

Technically, I can. I have an appointement this Tuesday at the other college, and this meeting will officially decide if I'm jumping ship and going for the network specialist degree. I have until February 1st to decide (that would be this upcoming Friday), and the classes begin the next Monday - roughly February 4th.

And I wish it was this easy - just talking to them and taking another class. Unfortunately, it's not that simple. This is a class I cannot get rid of - just like philosophy, phys ed, French.

Technically I would be supposed to be in English 103 (cream of the cream), but didn't retook the test, so I suppose that when I took it back then I took it too lightly and look where it got me - 102.

    That's how I roll.
