    I have all of an hour of Latin today, and we're translating already :eek: .

    I hadn't reviewed my Latin over the summer, so I'm looking at the text we have to translate and starting to panic. I need to at least try to figure out the vocab and grammatical stuff, and I am... but I have the sneaking suspicion that Latin is going to be the cause of my death.

    just a question, I remember that the kilted crusader once made a comment to me about Shura writing a story called "Maiden of Pain", would this happen to be the same Maiden of Pain from the new FR Priests series written by Kameron Franklin, winner of some writing contest?

    Although I seriously doubt it's our Shura - his writing was too dark to meet the publishers' standards, imho.

    (edit: nope, not Shura. 'The winner is Kameron Franklin from Vancouver, Washington.' - Shura was from Singapore IIRC)
