    I flew into Chicago last night. I am here for twelve days which means that I miss the Canadian holiday week-end and then leave here just before the U.S. holiday week-end - I swear that whoever created my schedule is a complete saddist.

    I was upgraded to a really nice executive suite at the Palmer House but I am only booked there for 11 days because they were booked solid for the final night. Changing hotels part way through is annoying but having to change hotels for just the one night is a royal pain.

    It stopped raining! Well, its drizzling. But, they towed my mom's car, and although I haven't seen it, my dad says its a mess. Of course, its supposed to start monsooning again any time now.
