    Good luck Shell. Moving is such sweet sorrow. Actually moving sucks and causes a lot of injury. I suggest that you don't invite your hubby's best man to help because he'd probably send you a bill for his labour and then hog all the pizza.

    [​IMG] The nice and colourful Windows XP GUI and the static Dreamweaver panels have been permanently burned into my monitor a few months ago. :flaming:

    So much for my theory that screen savers aren't really needed with modern monitors any more. :bang:

    Actually, I read that somewhere... I wish I could remember where. :mad:

    I think that depends on what you mean by "modern". Anything with phosphors like CRTs or plasma displays can have the "burn in" effect, but LCDs don't I think.

    Energy consumption aside, which would be a better choice?

    Also, I made my first paint job today. It was a motorcycle gas tank, which was painted candy green with shades and ice pearl crystals. The result was gorgeous.

    I am in a wedding tomorrow. The last of my unmarried friends is getting hitched. I hate wearing a tux, and it is supposed to be in the 80's and very humid tomorrow. Did I mention that the church had no AC. Thank God for right gaurd!

    See, that's another hidden advantage of dual (or in my case, triple) boot: different GUIs every time.
    Well at least you got the "nice and colourful" XP GUI. Imagine if you were using a Mac, you'd been stuck with the Mighty Blue Apple :lol:

    I think whoever wrote that is going to be very happy you don't remember where you read it...

    By "modern" I meant made after the year 2000 or so. But yes, it's a CRT (Sony Trinitron).
