The problem arises because are eating schedule has changed, it used to be Breakfast, Morning Coffee, Lunch, Afternnon Tea or High Tea (if combined with Dinner), Dinner and Supper. Now depending on which part of the UK/ROI you come from is the naming convention. :)

Yes. I lived in London for almost four years and never once heard anybody use the word dinner to describe lunch.

Yes. Which part of winter? And which part of the North Island? And how warm is warm enough for an mbike?

London? Ah that explains it. You've got to keep an eye on the English...

Nah, more seriously, when I said that naming conventions change across the island, I meant it. While Londoners may not use it for lunch, up here in Scotland I've heard it used several times in that sense.

I have some family who are farmers in Saskatchewan. They generally call the lunchtime meal "dinner" and the evening meal "supper". But most of my family and the people I know think of dinner as the supper-time meal.

Hmm... I could either have really light homework right now (as in, a little studying and maybe a math problem or two), or, if I am correct, a ****load. I don't know if those 3 math assignments are due tomorrow or not, considering that we haven't even started learning the material in class, nor have we even gotten the last test back.

First a shower (*shudders*), then I head to school to finally submit a few guides and also to download some little tweaks for my next time through Morrowind. (Most armor makes everyone look like guys. And while I can understand armor being shaped like that, I don't imagine it'd be too comfortable for the ladies to have their stuff squished by restrictive armor. :bad: To say nothing of why half the shirts do that... :skeptic: )
Or a program will finally do what it had refused to do when your supervisor is watching. :grr:

Decados is right on this one.

Being from Yorkshire and therefore a common peasant, I call lunch 'dinner' and dinner 'tea'

Or the directly opposite - things will refuse to work when you're trying to demonstrate them to your boss. :grr: :flaming:
