Saw today this large wide-screen monitor in one of the labs near my uni and I have to say I was impressed. 33 inches and wide-view; like taking the desktop to second degree. And I was thinking of replacing my monitor with a standard 19" flat next. Pfft. Right. That's so pitiful. :shake:

I gotta go to the Doctor today. To make it worse I can't have anything to eat until I go.

Sunny and 55 degrees here today, last nice day of the season I'll bet.

You like that huh? Waaaaay back in my freshmen year in high school, I took a plastic technology class. When we got to make stickers, I made a bumper sticker that had the symbol of a baby and a big red X over it, and next to that, it said:
I got an 'A' for the assignment, and my teacher liked it so much, he added it to his catalog. :D :rolling:

I wonder at what point people are willing to feel sympathy for literary characters who inspire ire in the reader. If an unlikeable character is murdered by a psychopath without justification is it a tragedy?

Depends. If they have done bad acts but are generally a good person, then yes, and if they are a 'troubled' person stuck in a bad situation where they have to do bad things (Think of Gaius Baltar from Battlestar Galactica), then maybe. But if they're a total duche, then no, screw them.

Just remember that if your monitor gets too big that using your computer is kind of like sitting in the front row of a movie theater to watch a film.

I wonder if your parents feel that way.

I hate them too. But my back has been the greater evil. Ah well, my Chiropractor's appointment is Wednesday, and I shouldn't have many long days for a week or so.

I hope you enjoy (enjoyed - if you read this later) the concert TrueBlue. I'd love to see them in concert.

Ah, but that's the best part. While all children start out as an STD, they can eventually redeem themselves (and cure the parents) by moving out! :D

So in a way, yes, my parents still feel that way...just towards my idiot of a brother who won't move out until he's 45 years old. :nono: Truth be told, my mom actually cried when I told her I was moving into an apartment (two days before the actual move to avoid as many quilt trips as possible), and she asked me if I would consider staying if they kicked my brother out. Seeing as how he was one of the main reasons I wanted to move out, I would have considered staying if my parents could only keep their religion to themselves... :bad: :rolling:

If they did felt that way, I just wouldn't exist.

Not everyone has the built-in desire to spawn descendance. I am part of those who lack that desire.

/me cracks open a Rockstar and downs it before going to get some serious sleep

There's nothing for it. I'm not going to bed until after Highlander is on this morning. Oh boy, 4 1/2 hours to kill!
