That reminds me, one of my friends made a the costume of the main character from Bleach and wore to some geekfest in the city. At least I think it was Bleach. I dont really know much about that stuff.

Anyways, while the costume was good, I did lose a bit of respect for him as he really didnt seem the type to dress up for a geek-a-thon.

    HB, Decados.
In other news I left my car at the body shop to get the hole in the door fixed (see evaluation of CE trip some pages back) and picked up an absolute clunker of a rental car - all the insurance would pay for. It's a 3 year old Taurus that stinks of cigarettes and has several rattles and squeaks, plus no cupholders!!! Yet it has satellite radio. Go figure.

Already I miss my own car.

Kitrax, it's not the CO2. I think it is a certain acid in cola and the like that is bad for your bones. IIRC the overdose of acid prevents your bones from absorbing the calcium, leaving you with a deficit.

I don't know a lot about your beloved Mt. Dew, but it sure sounds acidic.

Oh yes, phosphoric acid. But that isn't exactly news... A guy I know is hyperactive. His physician told him to stay away from coke because of the phosphate <<< on topic! >>>

    :coffee2: :coffee: :coffee2:

Stefania, when in doubt, duck and cover.

    Stefanina, take care.

Too late for me on the bone issue but I cut WAY back on all carbonated stuff after a bout of voice loss related to silent reflux.

Also, one of the main roads into Knoxville is down to shoulder traffic only southbound because of a giant sinkhole. If I read the article correctly in the morning paper, it was probably caused by the way the DOT drains water from the roads. Duh.

Not for nothing is the confluence of interstates in Knoxville known as Malfunction Junction. Just wait till later this year when the TOTALLY shut down I-40 through downtown for 18 months to rebuild it.
