This wont be the end for the EU, simply because it mustnt end. Success is in our best interest. Either we pull this off - or become a bunch of nations whose will is absolutely inconsequencial.
Anyway, I am sure Europe will work its way around this.

There is even a bright side to the 'crisis' shaking the EU. People are discontent with some developements, such as Turkey's joining the club. Rather then doing business as usual, our political leaders will have to respond to the populace's wishes. No more "well, you dont like what we have planned for you, but we will continue anyway" gigs. Its a shame implementation of the Constitution had to be temporarily screwed to get this point across.
Hopefully, our leaders have understood and send Turkey on her journey, or else the creation of a Europe people dont want has to be slowed down yet again by referendums and election of parties that are actively working against the EU.

Btw, the links Ragusa provided are great fun. Hilarious. :)
Standardized driver licenses as the mark of the Beast - The Beast with ten heads and lots of horns - The Prince who shall come - Antichrist, grown out of a revived Roman Empire - Beastly powers. :D
Our old Europe? An aging continent, living in decadence and decline, lolling about in la la land!
My my, religion does have its downfalls.

If Bush gets those vibes too, and he is susceptible to these things it is said, Europe will have a pre-emptive strike of the US on its hands. :D

exactly why I voted NO, not because i dislike the constition as such but because the dreamy bureaucrats in Brussels needed a kick back to reality.
