    Perhaps this was more difficult than I thought. I'll post a hint once I can think of one.


    EDIT: Okay, here's a hint - the first time he climbs the tree, there are three eggs. The eagle only attacks him once he's grabbed an egg each time. However, the first two times he loses his willpower and eats the egg, forcing him to climb up and get another one.
