"Some men are Baptists, others Catholics. My father was an Oldsmobile man."

Hint: The book this movie is based on was intitled "In God we trust...everyone else pays cash."

A Christmas Story. It's funny you brought that one up - because I heard a piece about the author on NPR this morning. Creepy. Otherwise I don't know if I would have remembered it so quickly. Nice.

It was a little on the softballish side.

So is this, but I am kind of drawing a blank here.

"That's it? That's the chant against evil from the Book of Souls? Oh yeah, right boss, and what kind of decoder ring comes with that? Sh*t, it don't even rhyme well!"

Though it sounds like Morte from PlaneScape, I'm going to say that's from Army of Darkness. Otherwise I'm not sure.

Quite right Zurga - your turn. Arsenic and old lace it is :D I thought a true classic might restore the dignity of the topic somewhat ;)

Well I see that Vukodlak's attempt to restore dignity to the topic didn't last very long. :D

I do believe that the quote is from Spaceballs is it not?

If you ask me, it is quite understandable to confuse Mr. Coffee with a radar display. :p

I really seem to be running low on good quotes. This is way too easy.

"Go in the direction the bird is flying!

It's going back to the village!

Ignore the bird, follow the river."
