Life of Brian? Because there was something about a shoe there, though I'm not sure about it.

    Hmmm...a hint....

The actor who uttered this line was also famous for saying "Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K." Not the same movie, of course. ;)

Well, the hint helped with the actor, but I don't remember that line from any of the god-awful movies I've seen him in, so I probably never saw this one. (He makes my worst five actors of all time, as he's essentially been terrible in every movie except the one you got the hint from.)

If I have the correct actor (from DR's obscure-o hint ;) ), I will start the guessing with Feeling Minnesota.

 I love that smiley! :shake: I've never seen it before. Nice.

    But, alas, no.

Okay, another hint: Along with the actor who said the quote (Keanu Reeves as you no doubt have guessed), he and the main actor in the film have both played comic-book heroes recently.

Damn that one is obscure. I had to IMDB it - on an interesting note it is reported as having made $12,836 at the box office and had a budget of roughly $4,000,000. The cast list is actually quite interesting - there are a surprisingly large number of well known actors/actresses.

Last guess for tonight: The Last Time I Committed Suicide?

@DS - Can't be River Phoenix. He's been dead for 10 years or so.

    Last guess for tonight is...correct.

It was a great movie - based on actual letters between Neal Cassidy and Jack Kerouac, with a great cast. I chalk it's poor performance entirely up to piss-poor marketing by the studio.

    Anyway, kuemper is up.

For those wondering, the other actor was not River Phoenix (as not only is he very, very dead - but he never played a comic hero), but it was in fact Tomas Jane (recent role being The Punisher).

Didn't River Phoenix play young Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?

Yes, he did. But they didn't make Indiana Jones comic books until after the movies came out - so River Phoenix doesn't really qualify as a "comic hero."

Hee hee. I knew that week long Keanu movie-fest would come in handy one day. :thumb: It took me a bit to place Jane as The Punisher, since I'd only seen the Lundgren version.

    You're wet.

Not anymore general than some of the clues that get passed out! ;)

    Not Titantic.

Hint 1: It's said during a raining scene.
