    I am giving this one to HB.

    Actually the fruit in question was a 'Red Chilli Pepper', but it would be overly pedantic of me to deny you your victory. ;) Though the pedant in me says "There are no such things as pink chillis". :D

    So, the Red Chilli Pepper was the coral purse and its seeds the gold coins.

    How ridiculous. You said the fruit was pink and inedible. A chilli is neither of those things. Plus, that wasn't a riddle, it was just a dumb question that didn't mean anything. They must be really bored up there in Tibet. Not sure I'd be hurrying to see any Tibetan comedians if that is what passes for humour there.

    Hmm, another riddle? Here's an oldie: What can up a chimney down but can't go down a chimney up?
