[IMG] I actually DO have a life, believe it or not. I have a 50+ hours/week job. A wife and a 7 month old daughter. Plus I'm involved in my church and work out regularly.

My job involves a lot of phone time for conf. calls and such. That's when I browse the forum or chat.

On the weekends I get up at 5 am so that I can 2 or so hours to play BG2. Like Kit, I'm just starting my second time through. I'm just involved here because I need a mental break from my job to help ward off the insanity!

I only consider myself a casual user. I play around 5 to 10 hours a week. This is a large improvement from when I was in college and I would play computer games for days on end. Is was like a third job. I'd play from 30 to 40 hours a week.

For years now I've had a real job and a wife who doesn't like playing computer games for hours on end. Plus I need time to play table top with all my buddies. This requires a great sacrifice. Maybe when I have kids and teach them to play RPGs I can classify playing as quality time with my children. :) Until then it's secendary.

  3. I have absolutely no life whatsoever.

I play BG2 every night, and whenever i finish an RPG I get withdrawl symptoms and start feeling nostalgic. My friends and i spend all our free time at skewel making revised character sheets for oursleves, we call each other by our RPG names, we have a running competition to see who has discovered the most powerful magic weapon (I'm currently winning with Carsomyr +6), we have a sign language, we freely admit that we are nerds, we call everyone who isn't us "jocks", and we make jokes like "look out, its the nerd squad (in colour)"

I say again, no life here.

[IMG] My only complaint about the life is, that you can't reload when you do something stupid...
