NORTH FOREST
Karthir El-Hazzar
The party goes up (not down) the stairs to emerge atop the walls of Saradush. I then have a couple of banters, including one where Sarevok's alignment changes to Chaotic Good.
I sell of my excess loot (which I don't show), and then teleport back to the Pocket Plane. Now I can direct the Pocket Plane to take me to the wilderness outside of Sarevok's home.
Once I arrive, I end up killing a lot of Yaga-Shura's soldiers. The lone survivor of a caravan the soldiers had been attacking is a merchant named Karthir el-Hazzar. I get +1 reputation and 1,000xp for saving him. He sells a lot of magic weapons, magical ammunition, an Obsidian Ioun Stone (+1 Constitution), a Rod of Resurrection, and some spell scrolls.
Yaga-Shura Soldiers
Now I make my way east through the forest. I leave the party behind the first bridge I see. I let Avastrian cross it and tease the pair of Fire Giants on the other side. It then becomes a simple matter of shooting them down when they can't cross the bridge.
I continue my sweep of the area, killing plenty of Yaga-Shura's forces through routine physical combat. There will be a large force that includes a couple of Clerics and a couple more Fire Giants. This time I have to fight them up close. Nonetheless, having multiple party members combine Greater Whirlwind Attacks to hack down one Giant after the other works just as well.
Now I take the time to do a side quest called the Ritual, which is available through the Tactics mod.
