Why He's Included and How to Use Effectively

Here is where Korgan can be found initially, in the Copper Coronet:

It doesn't get any simpler than with Korgan. Suit him up in the best armor, give him Crom Faeyr, the Gauntlets of Dexterity, and a Shield, and let him wade into action. I still think a very good armor class is still meaningful during a lot of fights in Throne of Bhaal. And besides, there are certain shields in the game (e.g. Reflection Shield +1, Shield of Balduran) that offer distinct tactical opportunities.

He emphasizes Crom Faeyr during Shadows of Amn. During Throne of Bhaal he has the option of drawing on his berserk ability in combination with the Axe of the Unyielding.
