This is a walkthrough for the epic CRPG game Baldur's Gate 2. A genuine effort has been made to provide as many solutions and paths for the game as possible. Solutions are given for all major and side quests.

ORGANIZATION OF THE WALKTHROUGH
The walkthrough is divided into solutions for Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal and Watcher's Keep. The Shadows of Amn and Throne of Bhaal solutions are each divided into chapters consistent with the respective parts of the game.
NPC and Items lists are provided for the complete game, along with a brief description of how to create your main character.
Since quests usually cover several different areas, descriptions on how to solve them are given on separate pages with references to the various areas you must travel through. The quests are placed under the chapter they belong to. Click the "Quests" link at the top of a page to see a list of quests for the relevant chapter.
All the maps in this solution are screen captures. Numbered maps are provided at the top of the relevant pages, and sometimes throughout the text as well. The walkthrough provides notes in numeric order on most of the pages. The numbers on my maps correspond to the location of what is being discussed in the walkthrough notes.

If you are having problems with a specific quest or area, click Shadows of Amn, Throne of Bhaal, or Watcher's Keep depending on which part of the game you are playing and then select the relevant chapter or area at the top. In Shadows of Amn, most quests in or around Athkatla are described under Chapter 2, so even if you are currently in Chapter 6, if you are seeking advice on a quest that could be obtained and completed in Chapter 2, this is where you will find it.

While I have attempted to write a walkthrough that describes as many possible paths through the game as I could, Dave Milward gives blow-by-blow descriptions on how to go through the game with a good or an evil party and suggests ideal good or evil parties.
