Virtue | 341kb | Download (Ext.) |
This mod sets out to remedy apparent flaws in the game's original system by splitting reputation into two separate variables: Reputation, which represents how people in the game feel about the party; and Virtue, which represents how morally correct the party's actions are. Virtue will now appear alongside reputation on the character screen, and be treated separately where appropriate.
Unfinished Business | 1.6MB | Download (Ext.) |
Unfinished Business is a WeiDU-based mod for Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. It is designed to restore many of the cut items, quests, and encounters from the game's final release, as well as try to tie up some of the loose ends.
Cloakwood Squares | 300kb | Download (Ext.) |
A port (in-game custscene) of the "Cloakwood Squares" parody/game show fanfic to the Infinity Engine. See Salvanas and Tiana fight a battle of wits with nine of your favorite BG2 NPCs, all overseen by the Master of the Cloakwood Squares, Lord Keldorn Firecam! The Cloakwood Squares mod now includes both Games 1 and 2, and an "audience coordinator", Caffrey, who hangs out just south of the Copper Coronet and allows you to watch the games multiple times, or skip the viewing altogether, as you choose.
Ease-of-Use Mod | 375kb | Download (Ext.) |
The Ease-Of-Use mod is collection of useful modlets and minor changes that make playing BGII more bearable: |
||
Item Upgrade Mod | 472kb | Download (Ext.) |
This mod allows Cromwell and Cespenar to upgrade additional items in BGII. One third of them are convenience functions (e.g., they save you ring or boot space), one third of them try to beef up categories of weapons that are "weak by comparison" (e.g., clubs and spears), and one third of them upgrade NPC-specific items.
The Tactics Mod | 613kb | Download (Ext.) |
The Tactics Mod Pack adds quite a few optional components to BGII. They all aim to make the game more challenging and rewarding by increasing the difficulty (and thus the thought required) of encounters.
Spell-50 Mod | 351kb | Download (Ext.) |
The Spell-50 mod extends a number of priest, druid and mage spell effects to level fifty. Spells cast by friends and enemies alike are modified. Basically, it's a mod for players who would like to see phenominal cosmic spellcasting at higher levels. Contents: A number of spells within the game have their effects (damage, duration, etc.) linearly extended to 50th level.
Banter Packs | 300kb | Download (Ext.) |
It's no secret that one of the most popular, enduring elements of Baldur's Gate 2 is the inter-party dialogue, or "banter", that crops up from time to time, making the characters and gameworld seem more alive. The Banter Packs add several new banters, representing hundreds of new lines of dialogue, to BG2. No special intervention is required on the part of the player... just go about your business and enjoy the new scenarios as they appear.
NPC Flirt Packs | 529kb | Download (Ext.) |
It doesn't make sense that the BG2 romance NPCs call all of the shots in the relationship, right down to when it is and is not appropriate to show a little affection. Besides, who among you can say that you've never felt Aerie, Anomen, Jaheira, or Viconia just needed a hug? So now things are different. Now your PC can show his/her fondness any time. And the NPCs will flirt back, meaning the romance doesn't have to end after the last LOVETALK. |

Ashes of Embers | 565kb | Download (Ext.) |
Ashes of Embers is a collection of features originally intended as components of the Embers of Empires mod. Due to time constraints EoE has been put on hold, but the completed features have been released as a stand-alone package for BGII. It includes: - Universal weapons for all classes |

Oversight Mod | 400kb | Download (Ext.) |
A lot of the alignment codings in Baldur's Gate II are, to put it nicely, insane. Good brigands and murderers. Neutral paladins. Evil actors, major-domos, Priests of Lathander, and other characters who are entirely helpful and friendly. The Alignment Correction component of this mod was written to correct these errors. Additionally, in Throne of Bhaal, David Gaider created excellent Tougher versions of four members of the Five but no Tougher version of Sendai, Throne of Bhaal's ultimate spellcaster. Already markedly weaker than her brother Abazigal, whom players could encounter before facing her, Sendai became the weakest of the Five when all existing Tougher versions were installed. The Tougher Sendai component strives to rectify this, making Sendai approximately as deadly as Tougher Abazigal. |
