BALDUR'S GATE - SOUTHEAST
Zaxek and Michael
The party now travels to the southeast section of the city. The then go a little southeast, and then a little southwest, and then enter the first door they see.
They come upon Zaxek and Michael burgling a house. I deliberately choose the dialogue option that will make them attack me. They leave behind a Crossbow +1, some Arrows of Fire, and some Bolts of Lightning.
Imoen herself continues to burglar the next two houses down the street.
G'Axir the Seer and Nadarin
This video shows two quests that can be wrapped up at once. First, I go to the warehouse just a little to the southwest. A Dwarf named Nadarin wants me to deal with a Basilisk that has escaped in another warehouse.
I then go to the Blade & Stars Tavern, that's just a little to the north. G'Axir the seer wants me to bring back the Sphene Gem from the same Basilisk.
Now I head to the south section of the city, and arrive at its southeast corner. There will be a row of houses to my right. The warehouse in question is fourth on the right. Once I step in, somebody warns me about the Basilisk, which is actually a Greater Basilisk.
I have since then reconfigured Avastrian's spells so that they include only one instance of Protection from Petrification. A single character that can hit and is well-armored can bring down a Greater Basilisk by himself, provided he is protected against petrification. In my case it happens to be Khalid. Avastrian casts the spell on Khalid, who goes on ahead by himself. Once the Basilisk figures out that Khalid is protected, he'll start to use poisonous bite attacks, but this affects Khalid only once, who eventually kills the beast. It leaves behind the Sphene Gem that G'Axir the Seer mentioned.
I bring the good news back to Nadarin, and get 1,300xp and 1,800gp. BG1 Projects also reconfigures things so that it's Nadarin who gives me a second pair of Boots of Stealth, which Imoen will wear. Ok, so Imoen's stealth isn't exactly through the roof, but it fits.
I conclude by bringing the Sphene Gem to G'Axir, who gives me some sort of ominous message about an undercity.
Next is the south section of Baldur's Gate.
