Here you may be attacked by a few Kuo-Toa. They drop some Kuo-Toa Bolts but nothing else of interest.
Here you will have to fight a Beholder and two Gauths.
Here is a large group of Kuo-Toa, including a Kuo-Toa Priest. Once you have killed them all, make sure to click one of the pools along the wall a few times to take some Tainted Tadpoles. They are useful when you fight the Kuo-Toa Prince at 11.
Whoever passes over this bridge first is hit by a Flamestrike spell. So, let the first person to cross be a character with high fire/magic resistance.
Here you can bring forth five Demon Knights by sacrificing an animal on the altar. Just cast a summoning spell directed at the altar – but prepare first! The Demon Knights can drain levels and do a lot of damage. Suggested strategy is to prepare with Haste plus whatever else you may need, then summon an animal and run back out of the room to take on the Demon Knights piecemeal.
It is a hard fight but the loot makes it worth your trouble:
Here is a large Kuo-Toa war party waiting for you.
Here is another large Kuo-Toa war party.
At this alter you may have to fight a Kuo-Toa Wizard.
Here is where you find the Kuo-Toa Prince. If you have the Tainted Tadpoles from 5, click a few times on the pools at the left side of the room to add them to the water and seriously weaken the Kuo-Toa Prince.
When the Kuo-Toa Prince goes down, he drops several Kuo-Toa Bolts, a Spear, a Crossbow, Kuo-Toan's Blood, Bracers of Blinding Strike, 5 Water Opals, 3 Pearls, 17 Horn Coral Gems, 17 Garnet Gems, 4,540 GP, and minor treasure.

"That's it...time to move on, places to go and all that. The way you're going, you're just going to end up like Golodon the Unmanned. And I didn't want to see that the first time." -Jan Jansen, Baldur's Gate II
