The Awakening

Stepping forward a little from the initial entrance at #1 prompts a cutscene whereby the man who will become your ultimate antagonist will set a machine in motion, killing the other robed men nearby as well as Calisca and Heodan, but leaving Alliria unconscious. This event marks the conclusion of the Ruins of Cilant Lis quest, and the start of The Gilded Vale quest.

Alliria has now been Awakened and has become a Watcher. The video concludes with her collecting various plants from points marked #2 to #5, and Vessel Flesh from the desiccated corpses at spots marked #6.

Alliria's 2nd Level

Alliria now has enough experience to advance to her 2nd level. She selects The Sword and the Shepherd talent, which restores Endurance to everyone within a certain radius of her whenever she uses Flames of Devotion. More than that, it will activate twice while she uses Flames of Devotion when dual-wielding a weapon in each hand. This is one of the reasons why Kind Wayfarers are considerably more effective when they dual-wield two weapons.

The video concludes with Alliria making her way to the Valewood, with the ultimate objective of reaching Gilded Vale.
