MACES

A more refined variety of the Club, Maces are often the favored melee weapon of Clerics, but all warrior classes can also learn how to use them.

Ardulia's Fall +1

Properties:

Combat Ability: A creature hit by this mace must make a saving throw vs. spells or be slowed for 12 seconds.
THAC0: +1.
Weight: 8.
Speed Factor: 6.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Given to you by High Watcher Oisig in the Temple of Helm after you complete the Unseeing Eye quest, if you are not a Cleric.

Handmaiden's Mace

Properties:

Combat Ability: A creature hit by the mace must save vs. poison or suffer 2 points of damage per round for 10 rounds.
THAC0: +2.
Damage: 1D6 + 3.
Weight: 8.
Speed Factor: 6.
Not Usable By: Anyone who is not and Elf or Half-Elf Evil Cleric.

Location:

Dropped by a Handmaiden of Lolth if you are romancing Viconia and she is attacked by a Handmaiden and a Yochtol towards the end of Shadows of Amn.

Jerrod's Mace

Properties:

THAC0: +2 Bonus, +5 vs. Demons.
Damage: 1D6 +3, +5 vs. Demons.
Weight: 7.
Speed Factor: 5.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Sold by Joluv at 6 in the Copper Coronet if you have installed the Bonus Merchants pack.

Mace +1

Properties:

THAC0: +1.
Damage: 1D6 + 2.
Weight: 8.
Speed Factor: 6.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Dropped by bandits in random ambushes during Chapter 2.
Sold by Ribald Barterman at 2 in the Adventurer's Mart.
Sold by the Black Market Thief at 15 in the Slums.
Sold by Arledrian on the second floor of Gaelan Bayle's Home.
Sold by the merchant at 4 in the City Gate District if you save him from the thug who tries to blackmail him.
Dropped by Dawnmaster Kreel in the Temple of Lathander if you kill him, which you will need to do in connection with the Evil Cleric Stronghold Quests.
Sold by the Djinni in the blue tent at 4 in Trademeet, as long as you haven't solved the Djinni in Trademeet quest for them.
Sold by the Merchant at the marketplace at 11 in Trademeet, once you have solved the Djinni in Trademeet quest.
Sold by the Smithy at 22 in Trademeet, once you have solved the Djinni in Trademeet quest.
Sold by the shop at 7 in Brynnlaw.
Sold by Therngle Dagleford at 16 in the Underdark.
Dropped by the war party at 3 in the North Forest.

Throne of Bhaal:
Sold by the bartender at 3 in the Tankard Tree.
Sold by the Smugglers at 1 in the Smugglers Cave in Amkethran if you save them from the Monks.

Mace +2

Properties:

THAC0: +2.
Damage: 1D6 + 3.
Weight: 7.
Speed Factor: 5.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Sold by Gorch at 2 in Mae'Var's Guildhall, as long as you haven't solved the Mae'Var quest.
Dropped by Stahlman at 7 in the Guarded Compound.
Sold by Ribald Barterman at 2 in the Adventurer's Mart in Chapter 6 if you agree to pay for seeing his special wares.

Throne of Bhaal:
Dropped by one of the Il-Khan Soldiers at 2 in the Tankard Tree.
Sold by the bartender at 3 in the Tankard Tree.
Sold by Karthis al-Hezzar at 2 in the North Forest after you save him from Yaga-Shura's soldiers.

Properties:

THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D6 + 4.
Weight: 6.
Speed Factor: 4.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Sold by the bartender at 3 in the Tankard Tree.
Sold by Karthis al-Hezzar at 2 in the North Forest after you save him from Yaga-Shura's soldiers.
Sold by the Smugglers at 1 in the Smugglers Cave in Amkethran if you save them from the Monks.

Mace of Disruption +1

Properties:

Versus Undead: 2-12 + 4 damage, plus they must make a saving throw vs. Death (-4 penalty) or be utterly destroyed.
THAC0: +1.
Damage: 1D6 + 2.
Weight: 8.
Speed Factor: 6.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location: Found only in Chapter 3:

In a pool of blood at 17 in the Lower Tombs if you side with Bodhi.
Same place, at 20 in the Lower Tombs if you side with the Shadow Thieves.

Mace of Disruption +2

Properties:

Wearer is immune to Level Drain.
THAC0: +2.
Damage: 1D6 + 3.
Damage vs. Undead: 2-12 + 4 damage, plus they must make a saving throw vs. Death (-4 penalty) or be utterly destroyed.
Weight: 8.
Speed Factor: 6.
Requires: 10 Strength.
No usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Forged by Cromwell at 19 in the Docks District if you bring him the Mace of Disruption +1, 200 Pounds of Illithium, and 7,500 GP.

Skullcrusher +3

Properties:

THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D6 + 4, +2 extra damage to humanoid creatures.
Weight: 6.
Speed Factor: 4.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Given to you by Goldander Blackenrock at 15 in the Underdark after you solve his quest to Kill a Demon.

Storm Star +3

Properties:

THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D6 + 4, +1D6 Electrical damage.
Weight: 6.
Speed Factor: 4.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Watcher's Keep:

You get this from the Machine of Lum the Mad at 1 on the Machine of Lum the Mad level of Watcher's Keep if you enter the correct command in the machine (Medium Lever, Green Dial, Triangular Button).

Storm Star +5

Properties:

Equipped Ability: +20% to electrical resistance.
Combat Ability: 5% chance with each successful attack of casting Chain Lightning on target.
THAC0: +5.
Damage: 1D6 + 6, +1D6 Electrical damage.
Weight: 4.
Speed Factor: 2.
Requires: 10 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Mages, and Thieves.
