LONG SWORDS

One of the most common melee weapons in Faerun, the Long Sword does heavy slashing damage to all enemies that get too close.

Adjatha the Drinker +2

Properties:

Equipped Ability: Wielder is immune to Charm and Domination spells.
Special Ability: Each hit heals the wielder of 1 hit point damage.
THAC0: +2.
Damage: 1D8 + 2.
Weight: 3.
Speed Factor: 3.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Dropped by the Warden at 7 in the Planar Prison.

Angurvadal +4

Properties:

Special Ability: Once per day can increase the user's Strength to 22 for 60 seconds.
THAC0: +4.
Damage: 1D8 + 4, +1 Fire damage.
Weight: 2.
Speed Factor: 0.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.
With Liquid Mercury, Cespenar can upgrade the sword to the Angurvadal +5.

Dropped by the Githyanki Captain at 3 in the Githyanki Area.

Angurvadal +5

Properties:

Special Abilities:
- Raises user's Strength to 22 when equipped.
- User is immune to Level Drain when equipped.

Damage: 1D8 + 5, 1D4 + 1 Fire damage.

Created by Cespenar in the Hellish Pocket Plane if you give him the Angurvadal +4, Liquid Mercury, and 10,000 GP.

Blackrazor

Properties:

Equipped Ability:
- Regenerates 1 HP every 5 seconds.
- Immunity to Charm and Fear.
- With every hit it has a 15% chance of draining 4 levels, healing the wielder by 20 Hit Points, and hasting him for 20 seconds, as well as increasing his strength by 3 points for 20 seconds.
THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D8 + 3.
Weight: 4.
Speed Factor: 2.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Location:

Given to you by the Demon in the Test of Greed at 5 in Hell. To keep it, you must choose the Evil Path and kill the Genie.

Blade of Roses +3

Properties:

Equipped Abilities: +2 Bonus to Charisma.
THAC0: +3 Bonus.
Damage: 2D4 + 3.
Weight: 3.
Speed Factor: 2.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Sold by Bernard at 2 in the Copper Coronet.

Daystar +1

Properties:

Special Abilities (once per day): Sunray.
- Damage: 3D6 (save vs. spells or be blinded for 10 rounds).
- Undead: An additional 1D6 points of damage per level of caster (save vs. spells or be destroyed).
- Range: 20 feet.
- Area: 20 feet radius.
THAC0: +2 bonus, +4 vs. evil creatures.
Damage: 1D8 + 2, +4 vs. evil creatures, dows double damage against undead.

Turns to dust when you leave the Underdark.

Dropped by the Jae'llat Guards at 1 in House Jae'llat.
Dropped by Ist'tar Jae'llat and the Jae'llat Guards at 4 in House Jae'llat.
Dropped by Drow throughout the Underdark and Ust Natha.

Flame Tongue +1

Properties:

Damage: 1D8 + 1, +2 vs. regenerating creatures, +3 vs. cold/fire creatures, +4 vs. undead.
Weight: 4.
Speed Factor: 3.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Special Ability: Dancing sword can attack on its own for two rounds.
